Here's the final version of the University of Georgia's Carl Vincent Institute study on the proposed City of Brookhaven. It is a very comprehensive study which will be used as a blueprint for the creation of the new city.

I've uploaded a powerpoint presentation which gives a great overview of the Brookhaven LCI, the subsequent zoning overlay, and it's impact on Brookhaven. I'm a huge supporter of this project due to the great investment made in gathering the input from so many of the stake holders over several months.

Brookhaven Peachtree Coridor Alliance (BPCA)

This group of civic volunteers has done an outstanding job of working with developers & zoning issues to facilitate smart growth within Brookhaven. Their website, www.abetterbrookhaven.org, is a tremendous resource for citizens interested in zoning issues and developments "in the pipeline" particurlarly around the Brookhaven Overlay District.
City of Brookhaven- Budget Analysis 2013 Proposed budget
At my recent town hall events, I gave the attached presentation to help explain the proposed 2013 City of Brookhaven budget. I tried to show the history of DeKalb county's millage rate changes between unincorporated & incorporated areas so that an accurate analysis of our tax burden can be discussed.
